My photography started in earnest in 2010 following emergency eye surgery. Able to see again, albeit with a slightly distorted view, I appreciated more of the sights and sounds around me. As a result I decided to document more of those images for future reference. 

For well over thirty - five years, I been going to gigs and have seen more than 1,300 different bands in this time. In the old days, I'd be in the mosh pit dancing away. Today, age takes its toil and I'm more likely to be at the side of the stage taking shots of the bands in action whilst still keeping that foot tapping away.
